Young people that are prevented from fulfilling their true potential due to coming from communities that are deprived and disadvantaged are at the heart of everything we do. We believe every young person should have the opportunity to succeed Irrespective of their background.

About Us

Whitefield Youth Association is a registered UK Charity that works with disadvantaged children and young people aged 5 – 25 as well as communities across East Lancashire.

The Charity which formally started out as a voluntary group in 2002 and is now a fully fledged UK registered Charity going in to its 20th year of existence has engaged with over 5000 children, young people and community members since being established – we are going nowhere!

Through our projektswya Social Enterprise Initiative we are currently directly engaging with 200 young people every week. Through the provision that we provide we work closely with every young person that we engage with to raise their ambition and aspiration. The Charity also offers additional targeted provision to address specific need for those who need it.

Whitefield Youth Association believes that every young person regardless of their background should be able to access the same opportunities which will help them develop as individuals. This belief is what is the driving force behind our Charity inspiring us to deliver real change and provides us with the passion to push us always to work harder and deliver real impact.
